He was a native of Disputanta, Va., born to the late Benjamin and Laura Scott Sr. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt. He also served in World War II in the U.S. Army. Mr. Scott was a former member of First Baptist Lamberts Point. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Marion Stith-Scott; a daughter, Deborah Ambrose and husband, Raymond; and a granddaughter, Dawn Ambrose, all of Cleveland, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday at Riddick Funeral Service Chapel with Bishop James Whitaker presiding. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
