Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, March 20, 1998 
John Paul Scott Jr. of the 600 block of Mowbray Arch died March 18, 1998, at
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

He was born Sept. 3, 1940, in Norfolk, the son of John Paul Scott Sr. and
Dorothy Scott. He was a retired fine artist/painter.

Mr. Scott is survived by the following from Norfolk: his companion, Sylvan
Eldringhoff; sisters, Evelyn Taylor and Gwendolyn Butts; brother, Bernard Scott;
cousins, Lucille Barnes and Dorothy Johnson of Seattle; and several nieces and
nephews.

A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday in the chapel of Graves Funeral
Home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery .
