E. Scribner, whose demise occurred at the residence of her son-in-law, Charles L. Quinn, 514 Freemason street, Friday, February 3 at 6:30 o'clock a.m., in the 61st year of her age, was held from St. Mary's Catholic church at 3 o’clock p.m. yes­terday and was very largely attended. Requiem mass was celebrated by Rev. Father E. J. Walsh. During the service, Mrs. James Hughes sang a solo, “In the Hour of Trial." The floral tri­butes were very handsome. The in­terment was in St. Mary’s cemetery. Following were the pall bearers: E. H. King, Wm. Blanks, T. J. Judkins, John F. Lawler, Captain Sidney Fitchett, Wm. Hannon, Sr., Wm. F. Thornton. and James E. Prince.
