T. E. Waters. Miss Rosa Smith sang "Lead, Kindly Light." The funeral was largely attended and there were many beautiful floral offerings. Among the flowers was a standing wreath from the Virginia-Carolina Supply Company and its employees; a cluster of lilies from the Elks and a cluster of lilies from the Knights of Columbus. Interment was in St. Mary’s cemetery, the pallbearers be­ing F. W. Blake. D. L. Kelly, M. J. Murphy, Thomas Synon, J. Willcox Jenkins, Laurence Kelly, J. C. Gor­don, J. A. Baecher and T. J. Hanlon.
