Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, November 25, 1992 
Raymond L. Seagroves Jr., 68, a retired security officer, died Nov. 22, 1992, 
in a Norfolk hospital. 
Mr. Seagroves was born in Durham, N.C., and had retired from Norshipco after 10 
years. He was a Baptist and an Army veteran of World War II. 
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Seagroves of Norfolk; three daughters, 
Deanna M. Seagroves and Katherine Horn, both of Norfolk, and Christine Hunsker 
of Texas; two sons, John J. Horn of Norfolk and George M. Johnson of Ohio; a 
sister, Ruby L. Nolte of Norfolk; and three grandchildren. 
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Magnolia Cemetery by 
the Rev. Gene Wood. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling 
arrangements.
