ANNIE M. SEARLS, widow of the late George W. Searls, died at the home of her son-in-law, James T. Holland, No. 428 Chapel street, at 6:20 o'clock yesterday morning, aged 65 years. She is survived by three children, Mrs. Mathias Krider, of Grand Rapids, Mich.; William B. Searls, of Newport News, and Mrs. James T. Holland, of Norfolk; also two sisters, Mrs. Mary Pittman, of Norfolk and Mrs. Katharine Kelley, of Portsmouth. The funeral will be solemnized from St. Mary's Catholic church at 10 o'clock Monday morning. The funeral of the late Mrs. Annie M. Searls, widow of George W. Searls, was solemnized from St. Mary’s Catho­lic church at 10 o’clock a.m. yester­day and was attended by a large con­course of the friends of the deceased. Requiem mass was celebrated by Fath­er Edward J. Walsh, associate pastor of the church. During the service, Mrs. James Hughes rendered "O Salutaris.” There was a profusion of beautiful flo­ral tributes. The interment was in St. Mary’s cemetery. The pall- bearers were as follows: George M. Heppel, J. E. Prince, Samuel Davidson, M. J. Mad­den, W. T. Buchanan, J. F. Lawless, Martin Cashin and Daniel A. Under­down.
