Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, November 3, 1993 
Henry Howard Sears, of the 400 block of W. 35th St., died Oct. 30 1993.

Mr. Sears was born in Norfolk, and was the son of the late William Harvey and
Eunice Mears Sears.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Ruth L. Sears; three daughters, Coralee S.
Goffigan and Regina R. Sears, both of Norfolk, and Karen M. Leigh of Portsmouth;
three sons, Howard Waddell Sears of Detroit, Keith W. Sears of Virginia Beach
and Bryan Andre Sears of York County, Va.; five sisters, Dr. Evelyn Sears Peevy
and Floretta Sears Thomas, both of Norfolk, Eunice Sears Frazier of Hampton,
Lucy Sears McCray of Phoenix, Ariz. and Lula Sears Rogers of Chesapeake; two
brothers, Odell Harvey Sears of New York City and Lt. Col. (Retired) Charles
Walter Sears of Hilliard, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church,
Bute Street, by the Rev. Robert G. Murray. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Riddick Funeral Service. The body will
be placed in the church at noon on Thursday. The family will be at 405 W. 35th St.
