The Norfolk Daily Landmark Saturday January 19, 1889

The funeral services of little Mattie Glidewell Seay were conducted by Rev. George 
J. Hobday Thursday at the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church at 4 o'clock p.m. and was 
largely attended. The interesting little girl had nearly attained her fifth year. 
She was a great favorite with all and the sunshine of her home.
