Seay, a member of the Norfolk police force and a very efficient officer, died at his home, 416 West Highland Avenue at 2 o'clock p.m. yesterday after an illness of six months of consumption. He is survived by three sons, two sisters and one brother. His sons are Walter W., Archie F. and Charles W. Seay; his sisters are Mrs. H.E. Whitehurst and Mrs. S.C. French; his brother, Horace Seay. He was a member of the Eagles and Norfolk Lodge, No. 32, I.O.O.F. The funeral will be held at his late residence at 3 p.m. Wednesday and will be conducted by Fred G. Davis of Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church. The interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
