Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Friday March 3, 1933
George Joseph Sebille, aged 62 years, husband of Daisy Blount Sebille, and son of 
the late Henry Joseph and Zoe Simmons Sebille, died at 9:50 o'clock yesterday 
morning at the residence, Virginia Bay Cottage, Ocean View.  Mr. Sebille was a 
native of Philadelphia, Pa. and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 42 
years.  He was a member of Norfolk Lodge No. 38, B.P.O. Elks, Woodmen of the 
World, and of Holy Name Society, of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.  Besides his 
wife, he is survived by one son, Elvin Joseph Sebille and one sister, Mrs. T.C. 
Heath, all of Norfolk.  Funeral services at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean 
View, Saturday morning at 11 o'clock, with the pastor, the Rev. R.B. Kesley, 
officiating.  Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
