The Virginian Pilot Thursday February 19, 1976
Mrs. Mary Allene Bruce Seeley, 79, of 848 Rebecca St., formerly of the 3500 
block of Bapaume Ave. in Norfolk, died Wednesday at 11:15 a.m. in Southampton 
Memorial Hospital. She lived here for two years. 
She was the widow of John Silas Seeley. She was a member of Fairmount Park Free 
Will Baptist Church in Norfolk.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. L.D. Lowe and Mrs. M.T. Lowe of Franklin; 
two sisters, Mrs. Glendola Sykes of Norfolk and Mrs. Emily Bruce of Pasadena, 
Calif., three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three nieces; and three 
nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Tidewater Drive Chapel, Norfolk, by the Rev. A.B. Brown. Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will be at the funeral home today from 
6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
