HENRY SEELINGER, FORMER MEMBER OF CITY COUNCIL, DEAD

Henry Seelinger, 63 years old, a well-known Norfolk resident, died at his 
residence, 4201 Newport avenue, Co­lonial place, yesterday morning at 8:25 o'clock.

He was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Steiner Seelinger.

Mr. Seelinger was a native of Erie, Pa., and had been a resident of Nor­folk for 45

years. He was in business in this city for many years and was a member of the City 
Council under Nor­folk's old form of government. He was a member of Norfolk Lodge 
No 38, B. P. O. Elks.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Nellie J. Seelinger, he is survived by a son. Dr. Harry R. 
Seelinger; a granddaughter, Jeraline Seelinger; two sisters, Mrs. John Guelcher, 
Buffalo, N.Y. and Mrs. Herman Schanbacker, Norfolk; a brother, Joseph Seelinger, 
Norfolk, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held tomor­row morning at 10 o'clock at the Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church, of which Mr. Seelinger was a member. Burial will be in 
St. Mary's Cemetery.
