Norfolk Journal and Guide, Mar 1, 1975
Norfolk - Mrs. Beatrice Green Selby of 800 Fremont St., the widow of Dempsey J. 
Selby and a native of Mamie, Currituck County, NC, died Friday, Feb. 7, in a 
hospital.

She was a Baptist.

Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Irma E. Hunter of Norfolk;  two aunts, Mrs. 
Lueray Gallop of Norfolk and Mrs. Hattie Bowden of New York;  four uncles, 
Hathaway Gallop and Noah Gallop of Norfolk, William C. Gallop of Baltimore, and 
Richard Gallop of Mamie;  and a niece, Miss Debra Hunter of Norfolk.

The body was taken to Riddick Funeral Service.

Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
