Miss Annie Selden, of 901 Denson street, died at 1:55 p.m. May 26 at her 
residence following a long illness. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. May 
30 at Bank Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. J. B. Henderson, pastor, 
officiating.

A native of Norfolk, Miss Selden attended Norfolk public schools and Norfolk 
Mission College. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel 
Selden. She was active in church and civic affairs.

Miss Selden is survived by two sisters, Miss Bana L. Selden, of Petersburg 
VA,, and Mrs. Hilda S. Johnson of Norfolk; and two brothers, Page S. Selden, 
of New York City, and William L. Selden Sr., of Philadelpia PA.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with King's Funeral Home in charge.
