The pastor, the Rev. R. H. Bowling, officiated. For years she was an active member of the Tents and the United Spanish War Veterans Auxiliary, being a charter member of the auxiliary. Miss Selden is survived by three brothers, John R. Selden and William Selden, First Baptist deacon of Norfolk; and Walter Selden of Salt Lake City, UT; four sisters, Mrs. Elnora Gatling, Mrs. Mary Louise Williams, Mrs. Martha Martin, and Miss Nettie Selden, all of Norfolk. Out of town persons here for the funeral included Mr. and Mrs. James A. Selden and Mrs. Lawrence Selden of Philadelphia PA; J. Russell Selden and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Selden of New York City, and Mrs. Marguerite Reid and Mrs. Muriel Brown of Portsmouth.
