She formerly resided at Marion Manor and Vivian Street, Norfolk. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. and raised in Baltimore, Md., she was married to the late Charles Franklin Selig for 57 years. Pauline was a retired employee of J.C. Penney and had interests in a local Parkinson's disease group and Square Dance club for several years. She was also accomplished in the art of crochet and her gifts were always desired and cherished. Pauline was a supportive wife throughout her husband's military career. She was also a member of Christ the King Catholic Church for many years. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara S. Nannery of Tappahannock, Va. and Theresa L. Selig-Berens of Virginia Beach; three sons, John C. Selig, George B. Selig both of Virginia Beach and William P. Selig of Norfolk; three sisters, Rita Pyle, Victoria Chamberlayne and Barbara Lagnese of Baltimore, Md.; one sister-in- law, Joan Wazlavek of Baltimore; one brother-in-law and another sister-in-law, William and Delores Vieweg of Baltimore; 12 grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 7 p.m. today at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1803 Columbia Ave., Norfolk, VA 23509 with Father Brian Rafferty, celebrant. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
