She was a native of Italy and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 28 years. She was the daughter of the late Antonio and Mrs. Catherine Flucci Sicoli. Mrs. Serra is survived by her husband, Mauro Serra, six daughters, Mrs. Theodore Ricci, Mrs. A. Contrada and Mrs. Robert H. Layton, of Norfolk; Mrs. L.G. Mitchell, of Washington, Mrs. R.A. Zaruba, of Petersburg and Mrs. Harrell Mitchell, of Anderson, Ind.; two sons, Sergt. N.M. Serra, of the Canal Zone and James Serra, of Norfolk; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson and a number of nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the funeral chapel of James V. Derry, 1020 Colley Avenue, corner Harrington, pending completion of funeral arrangements. ***************************************************************************** MRS. MARIA SICOLI SERRA — The body of Mrs. Serra, who died at the residence, 351 West Fifteenth street, Saturday night, will be taken from the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel, 1020 Colley avenue, corner Harrington, to Sacred Heart Catho­lic Church for services this morn­ing at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
