Sessler Sr., died Tuesday, in her home at 1809 Sunset Drive. Mrs. Sessler formerly had worked in the gift shop at Norfolk International Airport for 10 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where she was a social minister and lay minister. She was a member of the 55 Club of Holy Trinity, the Legion of Mary and Meals on Wheels. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joseph J. Fantone Jr. of Norfolk; two sons, Richard J. Sessler of Virginia Beach and Luke J. Sessler Jr. of Moyock, N.C.; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A viewing will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. A Mass of the resurrection will be offered at 7 p.m. Friday in the church by the Revs. Joseph Slattery and Richard Bagnail. A committal service will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday and at the residence.
