NORFOLK — Mary Honor Sessler, 70, a native of Syracuse, N.Y., and the widow of 
Luke J. Sessler Sr., died Tuesday, in her home at 1809 Sunset Drive.
Mrs. Sessler formerly had worked in the gift shop at Norfolk International 
Airport for 10 years.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where she was a social 
minister and lay minister. She was a member of the 55 Club of Holy Trinity, the 
Legion of Mary and Meals on Wheels.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joseph J. Fantone Jr. of Norfolk; two sons, 
Richard J. Sessler of Virginia Beach and Luke J. Sessler Jr. of Moyock, N.C.; 14 
grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
 A viewing will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. 
A Mass of the resurrection will be offered at 7 p.m. Friday in the church by the 
Revs. Joseph Slattery and Richard Bagnail. A committal service will be conducted 
at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 
7 to 8 p.m. Thursday and at the residence.
Memorial donations may be sent to Social Service of Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church.
