Norfolk Journal and Guide,Saturday,Oct 19,1940
Funeral services for Luther Sessoms, 58, 641 Goff St., who died suddenly at the
N. & W. Coal pier Sept. 28, were held in Hale & Co. Chapel with the Rev. D. Y.
Campbell officiating October 4. He was born in Knoxville, TN, was a widower and
had lived here 30 years. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery. (Hale & Co.)
