SEXTON, son of Mrs. Sarah Sexton. Aged 25 years. ************ We regret to have to announce the death of Mr. C.H. Sexton at 12:45 o'clock this morning at his residence, No. 24 Cumberland Street. Mr. Sexton was in his 26th year. He had been ill for some time past and at one time was connected with this office, being a printer by profession. His family have our hearty sympathy. Sexton The funeral of this lamented young gentleman took place according to previous announcement at 6 o'clock Sunday afternoon from his late residence No. 24 Cumberland Street and was attended by many friends and relatives of the deceased as well as by the printers of Norfolk and Portsmouth in a body. The funeral rites were performed by the Rev. John B. Newton, D.D., rector of St. Luke's P.E. Church and the remains were laid in Elmwood Cemetery. The following friends of the deceased acted as pallbearers: Messrs. L.T. Simmons, John C. James, J.W. Trower, J.J. Harrison, W.E. Glennan, William Lee, W.A. Busby, Samuel Church.
