Norfolk Virginian January 17, 1888

The funeral of Mr. Edward K. Seymour took place from his late residence, No. 
64 Queen Street, Sunday afternoon and a number of friends and acquaintances 
were in attendance.  The services were conducted by Rev. W.V. Tudor, pastor of 
the Granby Street M.E. Church.  The body was followed to the grave in Elmwood 
Cemetery by a large number of friends, the following gentlemen acting as 
pallbearers:  Messrs. William H. Carrick, Thomas Gorman, George W. Laylor, 
Thomas J. Maurice, John M. Ingram and William Russell.
