Norfolk Virginian  December 29, 1891

The numerous friends of Mrs. Lucy Seymour, consort of the late Edward Seymour, 
will be deeply pained to learn of her death, which occurred yesterday morning at 
the residence of her son, Mr. Samuel B. Seymour, No. 329 Queen Street, after an 
illness of only a week from congestion of the lungs. She leaves two daughters 
and two sons, to mourn her loss. The funeral will take place today from the 
residence of her son, 329 Queen Street.

The funeral of Mrs. Lucy Seymour took place yesterday afternoon from the Third 
Baptist Church and was conducted by the pastor, Rev. Dr. Blackwell. The 
pallbearers were Andrew Dusch, S.D. Bell, George Robinson, W.D. Coates and J.W. 
Gregory.
