The Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 14, 1955
William Abram Shacklock, 80, husband of Mrs. Esther Bonham Shacklock, died at 
the residence, 2008 Herman Avenue, yesterday at 1:45 p.m.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Edward William Shacklock and 
George Patterson Shacklock, both of Norfolk, six grandchildren and 12 
great-grandchildren.  Mr. Shacklock was a native of Portsmouth and lived in 
Norfolk most of his life.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to the Trinity 
Baptist Church, of which he was a member, for funeral services tomorrow at 3:30 
p.m.  Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.  The body will lie in state at 
the church an hour prior to services.
