NORFOLK—Leo Ellis Shalhoup Sr., 57, of San Antonio Blvd, died in a hospital 
Thursday.

He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk.

He was a son of Anthony and Mrs. Elizabeth Shalhoup and a restaurant owner.

He is survived by three sons, Anthony P. Shalhoup of Cherryhill, N.J., and George 
L. Shalhoup and Leo E. Shalhoup Jr. of Norfolk; a daughter, Miss June Shalhoup of 
Norfolk; five sisters, Mrs. Nellie Brown and Mrs. Jennie King of Norfolk, Mrs. 
Mary Wintergrass of Doug1as, Pa.; Mrs. Amelia Sheha of Pottstown, Pa., and Mrs. 
Julia Haten of Patterson, N.J.; two brothers, John Shalhoup and Mike Shalhoup of 
Norfolk; and seven grandchildren.

The Rosary will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Sunday at 7 p.m.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in B1essed Sacrament Catholic Church Monday at 
10 a m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
