Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, June 3, 1990 
Willie H. Sharp, of the 2400 block of Cottage Ave., a retired nurses' assistant,
died May 31, 1990, in a hospital.

Mrs. Sharp, a native of Hertford, N.C., retired from McCord Stokes Hospital
after 40 years. She was a member of Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Hortense Turner; her mother, Jezebelle F.
Small; and a sister, Mrs. Emma Skinner, all of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church
by the Rev. Richard A. Council. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body
will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Friends may join the family at the
residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
