Southern Argus Wednesday 26 Jul 1854 

Died at Shocco Springs, on yesterday morning of fever contracted in the lower 
part of North Carolina, Lewis Easley Sharp, in the 23rd year of his age. His 
remains will be brought down on the Seaboard Road
this afternoon and taken from the Depot to the Cemetery in Norfolk . His 
friends and those of the family are invited to attend.
