Mrs. Martha E. Sharpe, age 66, died June 12.  A native of Charlottesville, 
VA, she is survived by two daughters, Mesdames Eva Mae Spells and Izabelle 
McPherson; one son, Ernest E. Sharpe;  two sons-in-law, Thomas T. Spells and 
Charles McPherson;  and two grandchildren, Marvin and Anne McPherson.

Final rites were held June 14 at 1:30 p.m. at the National Baptist Church 
with the pastor, the Rev. P. P. Eaton, officiating.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Citizens Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.
