Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, April 18, 1996 
Mable B. Sharpe, 81, formerly of the 500 block of Nicholson St., died April 13,
1996, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mrs. Sharpe, the widow of Van Sharpe, was a homemaker. She was a native of Rocky
Mount, N.C., and a member of St. Paul C.M.E. Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Elsie Taylor of Washington, D.C.; two sons,
Ulysses Taylor of Rocky Mount and Lawrence Lee of Norfolk; three sisters, Ada
Newell and Dorothy Boney of Rocky Mount, and Ella Parker of New York; a
sister-in-law, Geneva Boney of Battleboro, N.C.; a grandson, Trenton Sanders of
Norfolk; a devoted granddaughter-in-law, Alexis Hopkins; and a
great-granddaughter, Costella Little.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Riddick Funeral Chapel. Burial
will be in Calvary Cemetery .
