NORFOLK — Mrs. Bernice G. Sharpe, 73, 3920 Cape Henry Ave., died Sunday in her 
home.

A native of Alexandersville, Ohio, she was the widow of Earnest L. Sharpe and a 
daughter of Frank and Mrs. Mary Price Weigel.

She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

She is survived by three sons, Victor L. Sharpe of Norfolk, Leo F. Sharpe Sr. of 
Portsmouth, and Earnest Sharpe of New York; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Smith of 
Indiana, Mrs. Mary Egelus of Florida, and Mrs. Teresa Pressel of Ohio; three 
grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The Rosary will be recited Tuesdav at 7:30 
pm. in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Catholic 
Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The family will be at 3920 Cape Henry Ave.
