NORFOLK — Ernest Leroy Sharpe, 68, of 3920 Cape Henry Ave., proprietor of E. L. 
Sharpe & Sons, auto body and paint shop, died Thursday night in a Norfolk 
hospital.

A native of Hillsboro, Ohio, he lived in Norfolk 20 years.

He was a son of James B. and Mrs. Mary Michaels Sharpe. Surviving are his widow 
Mrs. Bernice Sharpe; three sons, Victor Sharpe of Norfolk, Leo F. Sharpe of 
Portsmouth and Ernest L. Sharpe Jr. of Rye, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Florence 
Niekemp of Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Verna Stanforth of New Vienna, Ohio; two 
brothers, James Sharpe of Lynchburg, Ohio, and Bill Sharpe of Hillsboro, Ohio; and 
three grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Monday at 10 
a.m.
