Norfolk Journal and Guide, Nov 14, 1931
Mrs. Edith Shaw died at her late residence, 974 St. Julian Ave., Saturday, Oct.
31, at 2:30 p.m. after a lingering illness of four months.  She was sixty seven
years of age.

Mrs. Shaw left mourning her loss, six daughters, a son, nine grand children, and
four great grand children.

The funeral was held from the St. James Episcopal Church of Portsmouth on
Monday, Nov. 2.  Interment was in the Calvary Cemetery.
