D. Smith introducing the officiating minister. The Revs. J. N. Fuller, R. J. Alston, and H. T. Myers assisted. The obituary was read by Miss Etta Carter. Mrs. Shaw was an active member of the Missionary Circle of the church and an ardent worker in the community. She was a native of Churchland, VA, and lived in Norfolk for about 50 years. She is survived by her husband, two children, Mrs. M. Powers and Roosevelt Sutton of Philadelphia; a sister, three brothers, two grandchildren, and other relatives. Interment, in Calvary Cemetery, was directed by Hale and Company.
