Virginian Pilot June 20, 1967

Mrs. Mary Anderson Shea, 70, of 1070 W. 48th St. died Monday in a hospital.
A native of Norfolk, she was the wife of Henry A. Shea and a daughter of Joseph 
T. and Mrs. Mary Anderson.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary P. Rogers of 
Roanoke, Mrs. Virginia A. Watson of Norfolk and Mrs. Ann E. Dichard of Virginia 
Beach; three sons, Robert L. Bryant Jr. and Lewis T. Bryant of Norfolk and 
William A. Bryant of West Allis, Wis.; two brothers, John S. Anderson of 
Chesapeake and Willie E. Anderson of Norfolk; 21 grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Chapel. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The Office of the Dead 
will be said tonight at 8:30 p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. The family 
will be at 2625 Bapaume Ave.

SHEA, MRS. MARY ANDERSON - In a local hospital, Monday, MRS. MARY ANDERSON SHEA, 
wife of Henry A. Shea, and daughter of the late Joseph T. Anderson and Mrs. Mary 
Anderson, in the 71st year of her age. The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver 
Funeral Apts. to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Colley Avenue for funeral 
services, Wednesday at 10 o’clock. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will 
be at 2625 Bapaume Avenue.
