J.L. and the late Mrs. Mattie Beasley Tatem, died last night at 6 o'clock in the residence, 425 Clifford Street, after an illness of one year, aged 34 years. Besides her father, Mrs. Shea is survived by her husband, J.H. Shea; a daughter, Thelma May McConnell; a sister, Mrs. I.V. Kowalsky, all of this city. She was a consistent member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. The body was removed to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox, 124 East Berkley Avenue, where funeral service will be conducted Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will take place in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley.
