SOUTH NORFOLK - Francis Edward Shelley, 58, son of the late Michael and Mrs. 
Margaret Flynn Shelley, died Friday at 9:15 pm. in a Norfolk hospital after a long 
illness.

He was a native of Savannah, Ga., and had lived here the last 43 years. He lived 
at 1121 Freeman Ave.

He was a machinist al Norfolk Naval Shipyard and was a member of St. Matthew's 
Catholic Church.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. R. J. McGuire of South Norfolk and Mrs. J. V. 
Whalen of Staten Island, N.Y.

A rosary service is scheduled at Graham Funeral Home today at 8 p m.

A funeral service will be conducted at St. Matthew's Catholic Church Monday at 11 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk.
