Norfolk Ledger Dispatch July 29, 1947

Mrs. Mary Ehrmanntraut Shelly, 66, widow of William C. Shelly and daughter of 
the late William A. and Mrs. Caroline Pfeiffer Ehrmanntraut, a native of 
Washington, D.C. and a resident of Norfolk for 47 years, died at 7 a.m. today at 
the residence, 546 Willoughby Bay Avenue.
Surviving her are one daughter, Mrs. L. S. Morrisette, Jr., one son, W. Camp 
Shelly, Jr., three sisters, Mrs. James T. Hannan, Mrs. E.M. Holmes and Mrs. 
Harry Townsend Guy.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church, Ocean View, for services Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. 
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Rosary services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Wednesday 
night at 7:30 o'clock.

Tuesday, July 29, 1947, at 7 o'clock a.m., MARY EHRMANNTRAUT, widow of William 
C. Shelly and daughter of the late William A. and Caroline Pfeiffer 
Ehrmanntraut, in the 67th year of her age. Remains will be taken from the H. D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church, Ocean View, for services THURSDAY MORNING at 10 o'clock. Friends of the 
family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.
