Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, August 21, 1991 
Ruth Shepherd of the 300 block of E. Little Creek Road, a retired teacher, died
Aug. 17, 1991, in a hospital.

Miss Shepherd was born in Norfolk. She taught in schools in North Carolina and
Philadelphia.

Survivors include two nieces, Helen E. Topping and Evelyn Minnix, both of Norfolk.

The funeral will be coducted at noon Friday in Second Calvary Baptist Church by
the Rev. Geoffrey V. Guns. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body will be
placed in the church at 10 a.m. Family and friends will assemble at 11:20 a.m.
in Hale Funeral Home for the procession.
