The Virginian Pilot Saturday July 7, 1956
William Horace Shepherd, 84, son of William O. and Mrs. Frances Rhann 
Shepherd, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 2 a.m. after a long illness.  
He was a native of Wilmington, N.C., and had been a resident of Portsmouth for 
42 years.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Elmwood 
Cemetery for private funeral services this afternoon.
