Norfolk Journal and Guide, Nov 9,1957
Mrs. Joanna Sheppard, 72, 421 E. Olney road, Young Park, died Nov. 3 in a 
local hospital at 8:45 a.m.  She was a lifetime resident of Norfolk, and was 
a member of The Evening Star Lodge, No. 2.

She is survived by a cousin, Lillian Watson of Norfolk.

Funeral services were held Nov. 6 at 3 p.m. at Hale Funeral Chapel.  Rev. O. 
W. McInnis, pastor of the First Church of Christ, officiated.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale’s Funeral Home in charge.
