Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, March 12, 1997 
Linsey Odell Sheppard, 78, of the 900 block of Galt St. died March 8, 1997.

Linsey was retired.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruby Dozier of Norfolk; sister, Mary Powell of
Portsmouth; brother, Lawrance Hill of Portsmouth; two grandsons, Milton
Holloway, Dominique Holloway; a granddaughter, Jermel Carr, all of Norfolk; nine
great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Calvary Cemetery .
Family and friends will assemble at 618 Carolina Ave. Thursday at 10 a.m. for
the funeral procession. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
