Funeral 
services for Mrs. Lottie Wilson Sheppard, wife of James Sheppard and daughter of 
Mrs. Harriett Wilson, were held Sunday at the Metropolitan A. M. E. Z. Church at 
1:30 o’clock p.m. with the Rev. O. J. Allen, pastor of First Calvary Baptist 
Church officiating. Mrs. Hattie Joe and Mrs. Josephine Wimbley rendered 
solos. The casket was covered with floral offerings of Sweet Peas, 
Carnations, a cluster of roses and ferns. Pallbearers were W. H. Brown, W. 
H. Ford, Buddie Simmons, Harry Petty, of Princess Anne, Leroy Hayes, Australia 
Lightford. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.

Out-of-town 
friends attending the services were Mrs. Maggie Williams of Petersburg, Phoebe 
Staten of Roper NC.
