Norfolk Virginian Pilot July 4 ,1944

Mrs. Rose Pick Shepperd, widow of George B. Shepperd, died at a Norfolk hospital 
yesterday at 2:05 a.m. She is survived by her father, John Pick; two sisters, Mrs. 
R.L. Scribner and Mrs. W.E. Godsey; two brothers, Terrell J. and George W. Pick, 
all of Norfolk and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Shepperd was a native of 
Campbell County and had been a resident of Norfolk for 50 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home this 
afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
