Norfolk Ledger Dispatch December 2, 1929

Lawrence Ray Shipley, 17-day-old son of Capt. J.E. and Mrs. Susie Briggs Shipley, 
died this morning at 1:20 o'clock at the residence, 530 State Street.
The body was taken to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox, 124 East Berkley Avenue, for 
funeral services this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
