A funeral service was held Wednesday for Mrs. Annie Shipp, 63, of 1411 Armstrong 
street, at Queen Street Baptist Church with the Rev. J. Jasper Freeman 
officiating.
Mrs. Shipp was a native of Nansemond county, a missionary and Sunday School 
teacher at Queen Street Baptist Church, and a member of Margaret Francis chapter 
of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband Harrison Shipp;  a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Latimer 
of Norfolk;  and a sister, Mrs. Pearl Miller of Newark, NJ.
Riddick Funeral service directed interment in Calvary Cemetery.
