Norfolk Virginian August 12, 1892

The funeral of Mrs. Emily A. Shipp, who died Wednesday, at the residence of 
her son, Mr. W.A. Shipp, No. 250 Church Street, aged 68 years, took place 
yesterday afternoon from the above residence.  The interment was in Elmwood 
Cemetery.  The deceased was formerly of Princess Anne County and of South 
Portsmouth.  She was the mother of Messrs. W.A., George and Moses Shipp.
