Shipp, eldest son of Mr. W.T. Shipp, will be deeply pained to learn of his death, which occurred at the residence of his father, 107 Holt Street, last night at 9 o'clock. Mr. Shipp had been a suffered from heart troubles for some time, but the disease did not develop dangerously till yesterday morning, when he was forced to consult a physician and remained in bed all day. He was out on Sunday and appeared to enjoy good health. Mr. Shipp was 26 years of age, well educated and possessed a bright mind and much more than average business capacity. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 4 o'clock from residence. ************************************************************* The funeral of Mr. Walter Edgar Shipp took place yesterday afternoon from his late residence, 107 Holt Street, and was attended by a large number of friends of the deceased. The services were conducted by the Rev. B.D. Tucker and the remains were interred in Elmwood Cemetery. The floral offering were numerous and unusually handsome. Among then was "Gates Ajar" inscribed "Our Friend," and a pillow inscribed "My Brother". The following friends of the deceased acted as pallbearers: J.A. Batt, J.L. Watkins, G.W. Lassiter, E.W. Hall, F.W. Lathrop, J.T. Fletcher, R.G. Baylor, H.C. Butler and S.V. Hennelly.
