Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 30, 1918

The funeral of Mrs. Keturah Griffin Shipp, wife of Benjamin F. Shipp, who died 
early yesterday morning at her residence on Park Avenue, after a lingering 
illness, takes place at 5 o'clock today at the Christadelphian Chapel.  Mrs. 
Shipp, who was in her 68th year, was a native of this county; she is survived 
by her husband, four daughters, Mrs. J.L. Fentress, Mrs. Rosalin Mathias, Mrs. 
J.S. Woodhouse, and Miss Irene Shipp and a son, Benjamin O. Shipp, all of 
Norfolk and two brothers, Luther F. Fentress, of Norfolk and I.O. Fentress of 
Florida.  Burial will take place in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
