She was a native of Princess Anne County and had been a resident of Norfolk practically all her life. Surviving her are a daughter, Mrs. J. Clarence Davis, of Norfolk; three sons, O.L. Shipp, Miami, Fla. and Henry H. and A.M. Shipp, Norfolk; two half brothers, William C. Turner, Norfolk and Henry W. Turner, Kempsville; seven grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. The body will be taken from the Derry Funeral Chapel, Colley and Harrington Avenues to the residence where funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. E.E. Renn, pastor of McKendree Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
