SUISKY.
A Polish Jew Ends Her Life With a Pistol Bullet. Over near the Campostella Bridge, there are three small, frame houses, and in . the one next the bridge lived a Polish Jew by the name of Mrs. Suisky. She had a small family, and though in poor circumstances, was not known to be suffering. Last night, however, at about 5 o’clock, the neighbors heard a pistol shot, and were a little later alarmed by one of the children, who reported that Mrs. Suisky had shot and killed herself. Mrs. Suisky lived about an hour, however, and died at about 6 o’clock. She had shot herself in the abdomen, the bullet passing completely through her. The police got their first news of the suicide from a Pilot man at a late hour last night, and then very little could be learned there of the affair. It is thought that the deed was committed in a fit of despondency. She was reported to be a young woman, and her husband, Suisky, is still living.
