He was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, the son of the late Francis B. and Elizabeth Wood Shumadine, and is survived by one son, William Francis Shumadine, Jr.; two sisters, Miss Mary E. Shumadine and Mrs. T.C. Vanderberry, and four brothers, J.H., W.L., and C.T. Shumadine, all of Norfolk, and A.J. Shumadine, of Princess Anne County. Mr. Shumadine was a member of Larchmont Methodist Church. The body was removed to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Brother, 631 Westover avenue, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 12 o'clock noon. Burial will be in the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery.
